Chapter 1 of the Dark Druid RP covered the time that the RPG was open to the public, from the site's inception on March 1, 2006, until the conclusion of the Valron plotline of the story and the brief maintenance period which ended on April 3, 2007. It introduced a number of important characters to the Dark Druidism storyline, revealed the most continent-centric locations of The Expanse (which was later revealed to be only one of four continents in the Kemen), and provided a year-long testing ground for the site's creator Sulome to create a workable RP format.
